Paving
There are many ways to pave. Traditional square pavers are what most people think of, but the topic is vast. A base is usually prepared and compacted. The addition of sand helps achieve near perfect results. Usually the cracks of the traditional square paver are filled with Pavelock and outside perimeter is mortared.
Sometimes we cover large areas in schist and pieced together like a jigsaw. Paving can also include schist stepping stones. If big enough these can be installed in soil but smaller ones would need to be set in mortar or sand.
Ranges in costs vary depending on your requirements.
